It now seems as though nothing not even god can stop the flaming hot new york Yankees from loosing a game.  During yesterdays Yankees Orioles match up the yankees got the serise sweep against the slumping team.  Those Orioles have no where to go but up now.  Hopefully they will for the sake of the team just staying in the mlb!  I mean, the team is terrible, their manager is terrible, their GM is terrible, they have no fan base, and the only time they draw a crowed is then the Yankees or Red sox are in  town.  The only thing the Orioles have going for them is the fact that they have good young pitching down in the minors and that they have one of if not the best looking ballpark in Camden Yards.  Yesterdays game against the Yankees will most likely be Manager Dave Trembly last game ever handeling this team, i will be very suprised if it wasent.  I don't even believe he ever manage one major leauge club for the rest of his life, mabye the minors but defanatly not the majors.  Meanwhile while the O's are about to down like the stock market in 2008, all is well back in the Bronx where the yankees are only two games out of the AL east lead with the slumping Tampa Bay Rays having a, I guess one would say a much earned day off.  Ha not me though.  Up next for the yankees, they are going to be playing the i guess you can say suprising Blue Jays.  They have been slumping lately so we will see how things pan out for the bombers.

The Yanks are right back at it!  The red hot new york yankees are right back were they need to be with a 9 to 1 win against the season long slunp that id the Baltimore Orioles.  Phil Hughes was on the mound for the yanks and like he has been almost all season long he was domonant.  He tossed seven innings giving up one earned run and six hits.  You could actually say that at this point in time he has been the ace of this yankees staff because cc sabathia has been struggling his last 2 starts but he should be the great pitcher that he is.  Yesterday also marked the return of Jorge Posada fresh off of the 15 day DL.  He went two for four with a couple of singles.  The Yankees line up is starting to get its real feel back to it with Granderson and Posada back in the lineup.  It seems as though the only yankee starter that is missing is Nick Johnson.  But come on did we really expect anything else from this guy?  I think not.  Hey if you want my opinion i say the yankees call up top prospect Jesus Montero up to the big club.  I mean, they are compairing this guy to Carlos delgato!  I also personanly believe that we wont be seeing this guy Nick Johnson for the rest of the 2010 season.  If we call this kid up from AAA i believe he will be a presence in an already powerfull Yankees line up.  I mean just think about it, The Yankees have a guy named Nick Swisher batting 8th and a nother guy by the name of Robinson Cano batting 5th.  On literaly every other team in the MLB, he would be their cleanup hitter.

What a series!  The seemingly revived new york Yankees have seemed to be back in business.  And believe it or not, things get even easier for the next two months.  During the memorial day weekend the Yankees took three of four from the down right awful Indians.  To think that this team was one win away from going to the world series back in 2007!  Ha, I don't think that's going to be happening any time soon Indians fans, take my advice and prey to god all mighty that Lebron stays with you because he is the last thing you guys got and if he leaves, well, your screwed.  Now back to baseball, the Yanks were happy with three out of four, but they should have swept the lowly Indians.  During Saturdays game starting pitcher CC Sabathia struggled giving up four runs in six innings of work.  That alone seemed like more than enough as the yanks were up ten to six going into the seventh inning.  Then every thing went down hill.  David Robertson who has been pitching very well in the month of may struggled before he left the game early with a lower back strain.  And then there was Joba.  Chamberlain could not even get one out before spitting up the lead.  As the seventh inning came to an end, the Yankees were trailing by two runs by the score of 12-10.  The terrible Indians tacked on a few more runs for the final dagger by the final score of 15-12.  This was a slug fest that went in the bombers favor in the beginning and middle of the game, but it did not go their way in the end which is obviously the most important one.  Up next for the yanks would be the Orioles.  Like i said things just keep on getting easier and easier.  Lebron hope you go to the Nets because Ohio is just a joke.

Yesterday was a very good day if you would consider yourself a new york Yankees fan!  We got two for the price of one!  Due to tuesdays suspended game against the Twins, the yanks were going to finish the game picking up right were they left off in the fifth inning.  Perhaps the most exciting inning of them a all was in the sixth.  During the top of the sixth inning the captain Derek Jeter it his first home run in about a month.  Thought it was a solo shot, it was more than enough to propell a Yankees victory.  The great closer Mariano Revira closed things out for a yankees 1-0 victory.  This was good for Mo considering he went nearly two weeks before he appeared in one game!  Oh but just when you thought the yankees day was done and you were to go on with your day, what another game?  Thats right the game they just finished was from yesterday, they still have to play todays game rite!  So they did.  It was a stealler matchup between two starting pitchers in Andy Pettite and the seemingly resurgent Francico Lariano.  While both pitchers pitched in the seventh inning with Pettite pitching eight the score was tied at two.  During the eighth inning with Andy pitching he allowed the first two runners to reach base.  With runners on first and third, pettite caught a line drive off of stud catcher Joe Mauer for a out.  Then he made the slugging Justin Mornou to hit into a double play with a pumped up Pettite swinging his fists in excitement.  In the top of the ninth inning the stage was set.  Nick swisher hit a absolute bomb to right field to give the yankees a one run lead.  For the second time today Mo got the save for the yankees.  As John Sterling would say, "Ballgame over.  Yankees win.. Theeeeeeee yankees win!!!!"
